Pearl City Library offers children's storytime programs

Advertiser Staff

Pearl City Public Library is scheduled to host two free Children's Storytime programs this fall.

Preschool Storytimes are scheduled for Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 5 through Dec. 12 in the library's Children's Room.

This 45–minute program, suitable for children ages 2 1/2 and older with a parent or caregiver, will feature stories read-aloud, finger plays, sing–along songs, and craft making.

Puzzletime Storytimes are scheduled for Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in the Children's Room, starting Sept. 6 through Dec. 13.

This one–hour toddler storytime is a program where children ages 18 months and older accompanied by a parent or caregiver, can play with educational board puzzles before and after a storytime of books and songs.

Call the library two weeks in advance if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed for any of these programs.

Pearl City Public Library is located at 1138 Waimano Home Road, next to the Pearl City Police Station. For more information on these programs, call the library at 453–6566.
