Waianae Coast town meeting with mayor set for Tuesday

Advertiser Staff

Mayor Mufi Hannemann and members of his cabinet will host a town meeting for residents of the Wai'anae Coast on at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the Nanaikapono Elementary School cafeteria.

The main discussion topics will be the Waimanalo Gulch landfill and the community benefits program, which the Hannemann administration secured for the Wai'anae area.

"I invite and encourage Wai'anae-area residents to join us to hear about what we're doing for this part of the island and to exchange ideas on what we can do to make this an even better place to live, work and raise our families," Hannemann said.
