Beating leaves man in critical condition in Kalihi

A 41-year-old man was in critical condition today following an early morning beating in Kalihi, police said.The man was assaulted by a group of seven to nine men about 3 a.m., according to a friend of the victim, who also was beaten.
The first man suffered multiple facial fractures in the fight, police said.
There were no arrests.
