Advertiser Staff

Waikiki is busy all day with the ongoing Duke's OceanFest.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is the Rigger's 4 Person Invitational Volleyball Tournament at Queen's Beach. From 9 to 10 a.m. is Duke's Waikiki Ocean Mile Swim, starting and finishing from Duke's Canoe Club Beach. There's also a paddleboard race, surf water polo tournament, tandem surfing finals and more.

Get in the Kahanamoku spirit by checking out the lei parade (begins at 5 p.m. at Outrigger Reef on the Beach) and winding up at 6 p.m. for the draping of Duke's statue. For details and a full schedule of events, go to www.dukefoundation.org.
