Author to speak at free workshop

Ed Abdill, an international lecturer and author of "The Secret Gateway," will discuss "Foundations of the Ageless Wisdom" in a free workshop at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at 1532 Ulupi'i St., in the Olomana section of Kailua.
A free follow-up lecture, "The Still Point Beyond Good and Evil," will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11.
Both are sponsored by Theosophical Society in Kailua.

Christian musician Junko and speaker Sonia Driscoll will be featured at the next "More for Moms" event at First Presbyterian Church.
The event will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sept. 25.

FLORIDA PASTOR IS GUEST SPEAKER
Ernest Chu, assistant pastor at the Center for Spiritual Living in Fort Lauderdale and author of "Soul Currency: The Secret of Being Well Paid for Doing What Really Fulfills You," will be guest speaker at Windward Religious Science Church at 11 a.m. Sept. 2.
