Mayor to catch Hawaii actor in 'Balls of Fury' tonight

"SuperBad" may meet its maker this weekend at the box office when "Balls of Fury" opens on Friday.Juvenile? Check. Funny? Check.

And some fans, including Mayor Mufi Hannemann, will be getting a sneak preview tonight at an advanced screening at the Regal Dole Cannery 18. Local actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is the "Mysterious Asian Man" in the film, which deals with the underworld of ping pong.
Yes, ping pong.
The same people who created "Reno 911" created "Balls of Fury." The film's Web site, www.ballsoffury.com, has a hilarious trailer, ping pong trivia, games and other interactive features.
Tonight's advanced screening is at 7:30 p.m.
