Moderate south swell coming in today

Advertiser Staff

A moderate-sized south swell is expected to begin filling in today, the National Weather Service said, and it will gradually build on Tuesday before peaking Wednesday and slowly lowering the rest of the week.

A second, smaller south swell is expected to arrive late Thursday and gradually build Friday before lowering over the weekend.

Today, surf along east-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet; surf along south-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet; and surf along north- and west-facing shores will be 2 feet or less through Monday.
