Gold's Gym opens new cafe

Advertiser Staff

You don't have to be an iron pumper to eat at Hurricane Cafe and Juice Bar, the new eatery inside Gold's Gym at 768 South St. Run by Kathy Sills, the eatery is open for breakfast and lunch.

The menu includes Hurricane Wraps, panini, plate lunches (steak, chicken breast, scrambled egg whites or buffalo burger with white or brown rice and a side of salad), fresh-fruit smoothies and "high-energy" sides such as chili, power bars, sweet-potato fries, granola and acai bowls.

Sills is looking for vendors to provide locally grown produce, as well as prepared foods and other items to be featured in the store. Vendors interested in working with the company are encouraged to contact Sills at sills0608@mac.com.
