Money will finance work at 2 O'ahu libraries

The governor has released $227,500 for repairs at the Liliha and Mililani public libraries.

The money will be spent to replace carpet with carpet tiles at Liliha Public Library to eliminate buckling. Work on the project is set to start in January 2008 and finish up by November.

At Mililani Public Library, $72,000 will be used to replace the air-conditioning system. The money will be added to $607,000 released for the project in 2006. Work is set to start next month and be completed by March 2008.
