Cost-U-Less agreees to $52 million takeover offer

Cost-U-Less, a discount warehouse chain focusing on island markets, has agreed to be purchased by The North West Company Fund for $52.2 million, or $11.75 a share.

The definitive agreement calls for the transaction to close in the next two or three months. Cost-U-Less operates two of its medium-sized warehouse stores on Kaua'i and the Big Island.
