Superferry issues apology for canceled trip

The Hawaii Superferry issued this written statement to passengers on O'ahu after canceling a trip to Kaua'i today:

"To our valued Hawaii Superferry customer:

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience associated with the cancellation of your voyage.

"We want to ensure that we will do everything possible to get you back to your point of origin and reimburse you for any reasonable expenses:

"One night hotel stay,

"Meals for your party, up to $25 per passenger per day.

"If you would like to voyage with us on a future sailing, please call the number below to book.

"Otherwise, please book your own coach air fare back to your point of origin and we will reimburse your expense.

"To be reimbursed for these expenses, please submit the following:

"1) Passenger name

"2) Address

"3) Phone number

"4) E-mail address

"5) Original Hawaii Superferry booking number

"6) All receipts that require reimbursement

"All information should be sent to:

"Hawaii Superferry Inc.

Attn: REFUNDS

One Waterfront Plaza

500 Ala Moana Blvd.

Honolulu, HI 96813

"In addition, you will be provided 5) free future voyages equal to the same number of passengers as your original booking.

"We will be contacting you in the next few days to provide instruction on how to redeem your free voyages. If you have any questions, we have set up a dedicated phone number and email address for you to use to contact us.
