2.5 quake rolls 33 miles west-southwest of Big Island

A minor but measurable earthquake rumbled across the ocean floor early this morning about 33 miles west-southwest of the Kahalu'u-Keauhou area of the Big Island, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Center.The quake, which was assigned a preliminary magnitude of 2.5, was recorded at 1:33 a.m. Hawai'i time.
There were no reports of injury or damage.
