Fire damage to Mariposa Drive homes at $700,000

The Honolulu Fire Department today estimated damage from yesterday's fire which destroyed two homes on Mariposa Drive to be $700,000 — $300,000 to structure and $50,000 to contents of each home.Cause of the fire is still under investigation, HFD spokesman Capt. Terry Seeling said in a news release.
The 8:09 a.m. fires gutted homes at 3802 and 3804 Mariposa Drive.
