No major injuries in East Oahu traffic crash

A vehicle crash at Kalaniana'ole Highway and Kuli'ou'ou Road caused a traffic backup heading into town this morning.

Emergency responders were sent to the intersection of Kalaniana'ole Highway and Kuli'ou'ou Road in East O'ahu where a traffic crash happened this morning.

Fire crews were called to help extricate some of those involved in the collision from the vehicles involved.

Emergency workers were sent to the scene about 7:40 a.m.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said two men, ages 35 and 45, who were the drivers of the two vehicles involved in the incident, were taken in stable condition to The Queen's Medical Center.
