Paula Fuga debuts with Symphony Pops this weekend

Paula Fuga will make her Honolulu Symphony debut when she opens for Three Dog Night in the Honolulu Symphony Toyota Pops concerts at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Blaisdell Concert Hall.

Fuga, a Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner this year, will perform tunes from her award-winning debut CD, "Lilikoi." Maestro Matt Catingub, pops conductor, has written orchestral arrangements for Fuga's "Beautiful Face," "Earth to Moon" and "Sweet Reverie."
