Couple sought in attempted murder case in Kalihi

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a male and female wanted in connection with a case involving burglary and attempted murder.

At about 2 p.m. on Aug. 23 a man confronted a woman who was in his home on Monte Cooke Place in Kalihi without permission and chased her out. She got into a gray sports utility vehicle driven by an unknown man. The SUV then hit the homeowner while fleeing. The injured man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The woman was described as having a medium to heavy build, in her 30s, 5 foot 2 and approximately 160 pounds.

The man was described as having a heavy build, in his 40s and weighing 200 pounds.
