Honolulu man arrested on 12 sex-assault counts

Honolulu police today arrested a 30-year-old man for investigation of 12 counts of sexual assault.The man, who gave no permanent local address, went to the main police station at 5:45 p.m. and was booked on three counts of first-degree sex assault, eight counts of third-degree sex assault and one count of fourth-degree sex assault.
A bail bonds company also pulled its $25,000 bond for the man at 7:13 p.m.
The man in custody has nine prior convictions but none involve sex assault.
