Minor injuries for man stabbed in head in Nanakuli

A 48-year-old man escaped with minor injuries after being stabbed in the head this morning during a confrontation at 87-179 Hakimo Road in Nanakuli.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city's Emergency Services Department, said the man was taken to Hawaii Medical Center West in Waipahu in stable condition following the 7:45 a.m. incident.

Police were searching for a suspect in the case, a woman in her 30s, who was last seen driving away from the area before turning onto Farrington Highway.
