HAWAI'I KAI
Animal shelter to raise money

Advertiser Staff

The Hawai'i Animal Sanctuary, a no-kill animal shelter in Hawai'i Kai, will hold a garage sale fundraiser, including plants donated by Chrysanthemums of Hawaii, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at 7177 Kamilo St., in Mariner's Cove.

Anyone with items they wish to donate to the shelter for the garage sale should contact the shelter by e-mail at gina@hawaiianimalsanctuary.org.

Money raised by the sale will be used to pay for food and medicine to run the shelter, which cares for unwanted cats, dogs, rabbits, boars and chickens. To learn more of the 501(c)3 nonprofit, visit www.hawaiianimalsanctuary.org.
