Duane "Dog" Chapman is back in Hawai'i this week and resumes his book-signing tour tonight in Waipahu at the Border Books & Music in Waikele Shopping Center.

Chapman's biography, "You Can Run But You Can't Hide," is in the No. 1 spot on the New York Times best-seller list this Sunday. He's spent most of the past month touring the Mainland and Canada doing radio interviews, lectures and book signings, setting attendance records at several stops. His book is currently No. 6 on the Wall Street Journal list, No. 5 at Publishers Weekly and No. 20 at USA Today.

Tonight's book signing is at 7 p.m.

Tomorrow, Chapman, his wife Beth and their bounty hunting crew will be signing books at Border Books in Windward Mall.

They will also have a book signing and meet-and-greet at the Pearl Harbor Naval Base from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 7. Another military meet-and-greet is Sept. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hickam Air Force Base.
