Man charged with Waipahu sex assaults

A 30-year-old man was charged today on multiple sex-assault counts involving two juvenile victims in Waipahu.Christian Keikiokalani Mehrer, who has no permanent local address, is accused of three first-degree and eight third-degree sex assault counts. The alleged attacks occurred on dates including and prior to July 24.
Mehrer's bail is $50,000. He was charged today at 3 p.m.
