TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"World's Funniest Commercials," 6 p.m., TBS. Americans may have the best bombs, cars and computer-animated movies, but the rest of the world seems to lead in making clever commercials. This special offers great bits from Argentina, Japan, Norway, Peru, Poland, Russia, Romania, Sweden, Thailand and more. Some work so hard at amusing us that they barely mention the product. It's a fun ride, with Kevin Nealon and his wife, actress-comedian Susan Yeagley, hosting amiably from Paris.

"Jimmy Borges: After Dark," 7:30 p.m., KHET. Jazz singer Borges performs with saxophonist Gabe Baltazar, Honolulu Symphony Pops conductor Matt Catingub, drummer Noel Okimoto, bassist Steve Jones, pianist Betty Loo Taylor and vocalist Pauline Wilson. Part of PBS Hawaii's annual fund drive.

OF NOTE

"My Name is Earl," 7 p.m., NBC. Norm MacDonald shows up, starting a night of NBC reruns. His character takes over the family business, after his dad's death.

"Mad Men," 7 p.m., AMC. Even for this oblique show, this is an odd episode. The strangest part involves newlywed Pete and his obsession with returning a wedding gift. Meanwhile, the hard-drinking Roger makes trouble for Don's wife and, soon, for himself.

"Welcome to the Parker" season finale, 7 p.m., Bravo. Michael has been clinging to his job, despite major mistakes. Tonight, he faces a decision.

"30 Rock," 7:30 p.m., NBC. Life-changing decisions loom: Will Jack marry? Will Liz move to the Midwest with Floyd?

"I Hate My 30s," 7:30 p.m., VH1. This witty show ranges only from pretty good (tonight) to wonderful (last Thursday AND next Thursday). Tonight's episode gives two women an instant desire to have children. Mandy takes the direct route — sex with Kyle. Carol is indirect, testing Chad with a night of baby-sitting.

"The Office," 8 p.m., NBC. After a flasher confronts Phyllis, the office goes on alert.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. A worker has been killed at a poultry processing plant.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. When Samantha's estranged sister disappears, it seems logical for her to tell members of the team. They are, after all, good at finding people. Instead, she searches alone.
