The film, written and directed by Zagri and produced by his Gathering Place Productions, deals with a newcomer's first experiences of life's uncertainties in the Islands and proceeds to to advocate that people of all races and cultures deserve respect and aloha. "My intention is that 'Haole' will encourage a thought process and dialogue regarding tolerance and acceptance for others and ourselves," said Zagri in a statement.
