Ex-Cal wide receiver Daniel Lofton transfers to UH

Wide receiver Daniel Lofton, the son of Hall of Fame receiver James Lofton, has transferred to the University of Hawai'i from the Unversity of California.Lofton, who is 6 feet 4, will redshirt this season in accordance with NCAA rules. After that, he will have three years to play three seasons. Lofton, who will be a walk-on, already is enrolled at UH.
UH recruited Lofton when he was a high school senior in San Diego.
