Advertiser Staff

A double stabbing about 2:30 this morning on Lewers Street in Waikiki resulted in two 19-year-old men being taken to The Queen's Medical Center, one of them in critical condition and the other in serious condition.

One of the men was treated by city paramedics at the scene of the stabbing and taken to Queen's in serious condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.

The other stabbing victim drove himself or was driven to the McCully Shopping Center. He was treated there by city paramedics and transported to Queen's in critical condition, Cheplic said.

Details on the incident were not immediately available.
