Preps: Bautista scores five goals in Lunas' win

Freshman Mae Bautista scored five goals to lead the Lahainaluna High School girls soccer team to a 10-0 win over Moloka'i yesterrday in a Maui Interscholastic League game in Lahaina.

Fellow freshman Tawni Smith added two goals for the Spartans (2-0). Other goal scorers were Rachelle Chavez, Jordyn Kilgore and Alex LaClergue.

The Farmers fell to 0-2.

KING KEKAULIKE GIRLS 3, ST. ANTHONY 0: At Wailuku, Kaylee Kihara posted a goal and an assist to lead King Kekaulike to a win in its season opener.

Kihara assisted on Kelsey Abellanida's goal in the eighth minute, then followed up with an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute. Justine Amano finished up the scoring with her goal in the 73rd minute.

St. Anthony fell to 0-2.

BALDWIN GIRLS 4, SEABURY HALL 1: At Olinda, Keisha Shishido scored two goals to help Baldwin win its season opener.

Ayesha Pladera and Lachelle Sakimoto each added a goal for the Bears.

Mackenzie Yamamoto-Lane scored the lone goal for Seabury Hall (1-1).

BALDWIN BOYS 3, SEABURY HALL 1: At Olinda, John Takitani scored two first-half goals to lead Baldwin to a victory in its season opener.

Takitani scored in the eighth minute off a feed from Colton Kozaki. In the 17th minute, Seabury Hall (0-2) equalized on a penalty kick by Darren Fryer. But Baldwin went ahead for good in the 28th minute when Nathan Fernandez finished a pass from Mike Mars. Mars assisted on Takitani's second goal in the 34th minute to close the scoring.
