Ewa woman facing break-in, escape charges

Police today arrested a Renton Village woman on suspicion of breaking into an 'Ewa home and later attempting to flee from custody.The suspect, 35, allegedly entered the home through glass sliding doors at 11:25 a.m. and left the same way, police said.
The entry was witnessed by a resident of the home seated in the living room, police said.
Police later located the suspect but she allegedly tried to escape from custody. The woman was arrested at 1:55 p.m. on Fort Weaver Road.
She was booked on felony counts of unauthorized entry into a dwelling and second-degree escape.
The woman has 14 prior criminal convictions.
