Kamehameha, Radford win state cheerleading titles

Radford High School won the medium division title and Kamehameha won the large division crown at this afternoon's Zippy's State Cheerleading Championships at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Radford finished with 345.5 points to claim its third straight medium division title. Moanalua was second with 326 and Baldwin was third with 322.5. Teams in the medium division had 10 or less cheerleaders.

Kamehameha was first in the large division, featuring squads with 11-18 cheerleaders, with 351.5 points. Mililani, last year's large division champion, was second with 301.5 and Kailua was third with 279.5.
