Box jellyfish warning continuing through Wednesday

The Ocean Safety Division's Box jellyfish warning will remain in effect through Wednesday.if you are allergic to stings or don't want to be stung, it is advised you stay out of the water, particularly the southern shores (Waikiki) and Hanauma Bay.
Persons stung by box jellyfish are advised to flush the sting area with copious amounts of white vinegar. Anyone experiencing breathing difficulty, muscle cramps/spasms, and/or persistent pain are advised to seek immediate medical attention. Lifeguard stations are supplied and equipped to treat this type of marine sting.
