Hawaii stock index falls, led by Hoku

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index fell as eight stocks declined, led by Hoku Scientific.The 11-member stock index fell .99 points to 94.50 as two stocks gained and one remained unchanged.
Leading the decliners was Hoku, which was off 44 cents, or 5.3 percent, to $7.83.
Shares of Hawaiian Holdings, the parent of Hawaiian Airlines, were off 3.3 percent in dropping 17 cents to $4.96.
