Lane closures expected on H-1 through week

The H-1 Freeway will see lane closings in both directions between Waipahu and Makakilo/Kapolei this week, the state Department of Transportation said in a news release. Specifically, the west-bound far-right lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for excavation work.The west-bound far-left lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow through Friday for median resurfacing work.
Also, the two east-bound left-most lanes will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. tonight and Wednesday night for lane striping.
Finally, the two east-bound right-most lanes will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. tomorrow and Thursday for lane striping.
