Saint Louis School cancels all classes today

Saint Louis School has canceled all classes today because of an internal power problem, principal Russ Valente said this morning.

"We have a power line that feeds the administrative building that is down," Valente said. "We have no phone system, no way of communicating anything with the students and their families right now, so all we can say is we'll send out messages to the media when we know we have the problem fixed."

Valente expects classes to resume on Tuesday.

In addition to the phone system being down, Valente said the main server for its computer system is in the administrative building so no emails will be received or sent until power is restored.

Chaminade University, which shares the campus, does not appear to be affected by the power outage, Valente said.
