Power restored from Kane'ohe to Hau'ula

Hawaiian Electric Co. customers from Kane'ohe to Hau'ula were without power this morning for about half an hour due to equipment failure.The problem was in Kane'ohe, but to make repairs safely, power had to be shut down at about 9 a.m. in other areas, said Darren Pai, company spokesman.
Power was restored to most areas at about 9:30 a.m., Pai said.
