Downed pole in Kaneohe closes three lanes

A fallen telephone pole has forced the closure of three lanes on Kamehameha Highway near St. Mark Lutheran School in Kane'ohe.Both Kailua-bound lanes beginning at Pua Inia and one northbound lane are closed, police said.
Traffic is being rerouted.
Hawaiian Electric and Oceanic Cable are assisting the repair work by Hawaiian Telcom.
The pole was reported down at about 8:30 this morning, and the estimated time for repair was four to five hours.
