Rain and wind around Hawai'i today affected traffic. Trees and poles toppled across O'ahu roadways and debris was scattered over streets.

Police officers were at the intersection of University Avenue and Kapi'olani Boulevard to direct traffic this morning after traffic signals went out in the area.

A transformer problem fronting Kapi'olani Medical Center closed the hospital entrance and Bingham Street was turned into two-way traffic this morning. Hawaiian Electric crews were on the scene making repairs.
