Handi-Van service available for 'essential' needs

Officials with the city's Handi-Van service are requesting that peope requiring the service limite their transportation to "essential" needs today, such as work trips, medican and dorcto appointments, because of the hazardous road conditions.A news release sent out by the city said TheBus and Handi-Van services are available island-wide, with the exception of the Waianae Coast beyond Nanakuli, North Shore and areas beyond the Hygenic Store in Kahaluu.
