Waimalu on-ramp to H-1 west closed tonight

HONOLULU — The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists that the Waimalu loop on-ramp leading from Moanalua Road to the west-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway will be closed from 9 p.m. tonight until 4 a.m. Friday morning for guardrail repairs.Motorists seeking access to the westbound H-1 or northbound H-2 freeways are advised to use the next available on-ramps from Kamehameha Highway near Waihona Street in Waiawa. Motorists should also allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
