Water service restored to Hawaii Kai Shopping Center

A water main break on Keahole Street by the Safeway store in Hawai'i Kai was repaired and service restored about 4:30 a.m. this morning, according to Board of Water Supply officials.A break in the 12-inch main was reported about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The only customer affected by the break was the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center.
Road repairs continue and only one lane of traffic is open in each direction. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes if possible.
