Library to host session on family legal matters

Hawai'i Kai Public Library will host a free session called "Get Your Family Legal Affairs Organized" on Jan. 19 to answer families' questions on legal matters.

Attorney Scott Suzuki, J.D., M.P.H., a volunteer with the University of Hawai'i-Manoa Elder Law Program, will give a one-hour presentation on topics ranging from healthcare directives, to power of attorney, trusts, living wills, Medicare and Medicaid. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Those in need of a sign language interpreter or other special accommodations should call the library two weeks in advance at 397-5833. The library is at 249 Lunalilo Home Road.
