Red Cross accepting disaster relief donations

The American Red Cross today said it has helped 142 people on Maui, 53 people on O'ahu and four people on Kaua'i, and expects to help additional people coping with damage to their homes and other effects of this week's heavy rain and wind.The Red Cross is accepting donations to fund its disaster relief programs. People may call 368-1164, go to www.hawaiiredcross.org or mail checks payable to "Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund" to American Red Cross, Hawaii State Chapter, 4155 Diamond Head Road, Honolulu HI 96816.
