NFL: Bills RB Lynch likely to play against Dolphins

Associated Press

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills rookie running back Marshawn Lynch is likely to play Sunday when Buffalo hosts the winless Miami Dolphins.

Lynch, who missed the last three games because of a severely sprained left ankle, is listed as questionable. He practiced today for the third straight time this week, and coach Dick Jauron said he's optimistic Lynch will be able to return.

Lynch has seven touchdowns this season. He has 751 yards rushing, which still ranks 15th in the NFL.

Offensive left tackle Jason Peters is expected to play despite a nagging groin injury that has limited him in practice this week.

Defensive end Chris Kelsay will miss his second straight game because of a left ankle injury and linebacker Coy Wire (neck) and defensive lineman Copeland Bryan (knee) are also out.
