Big Island power restored

All Hawaii Electric Light Co. customers had power restored by 2 a.m. today.Over the past three days, 21,000 customers on the Big Island lost service, HELCO said.
Another 3,000 customers in the Waiakea area of Hilo lost power at 2:52 a.m. because of an automobile accident along Haihai Street.
HELCO said the accident was unrelated to the storm and crews are working to make repairs and reopen the road.
