Water leak closes Kalaniana'ole lane

Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews last night were repairing a leak on a pipe near the fire department's Wailupe station on Kalaniana'ole Highway.

The leak was reported about 7 p.m. and disrupted service to one customer, said BWS spokeswoman Tracy Burgo.

One westbound lane of Kalaniana'ole Highway was closed while repairs were made.



MAN CHARGED WITH BURGLARY, ASSAULT

Prosecutors yesterday charged a Kalihi man with allegedly confronting and molesting a woman who was taking a shower in her home.

Milton Richburg, 56, was charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree sex assault. His bail is $11,000 pending an initial appearance today at District Court.

Richburg is accused of entering a 42-year-old woman's home Wednesday at 6:15 a.m.

Richburg allegedly identified himself as an electric company employee and told the woman she had to leave her home due to a fire.

Richburg is also charged with inappropriately touching the woman, who later discovered several personal items missing from her home.

Richburg was arrested Wednesday at 1808 S. Beretania St. shortly after the incident was reported.



FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN WAHIAWA

Police yesterday arrested a fugitive wanted on a $75,000 parole-revocation warrant in Wahiawa.

David Te'o, 44, has 20 convictions dating to December 1980 that include auto theft and armed robbery. He was arrested without incident about 4:30 p.m. at a California Avenue residence.
