Man arrested in child porn case

A 56-year-old Kona man convicted of possession of child pornography has been arrested in Hilo, police said today.Hilo police found Thomas James Crowe sleeping in a car at a Kona hotel parking lot and arrested him without incident earlier this week, police said.
He was turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Crowe had been sentenced earlier to 57 months in federal prison, but failed to surrender for sentencing.
