Surf likely to reach 8 to 12 feet on North Shore today

Advertiser Staff

Surf is on the way up along north-facing shores on O'ahu, and wave faces could reach 8 to 12 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere look for surf of 4 to 8 feet along west-facing shores; 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores; and 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores.

A series of moderate northwest swells is expected to begin reaching our north- and west-facing shores during the next few days. The first of three will be arriving today, the second on Tuesday and the third on Thursday.
