Liquor Commission fines 5 venues

The Honolulu Liquor Commission fined Club Romantei $3,600 for violations that included fondling customers and various administrative citations.

In its weekly meeting Thursday, the commission also fined New Violet's Grill and Pizza Bob's $1,000 each for selling liquor to minors.

The commission also:

  • Fined Club Sun $1,000 for violating administrative rules, and ordered its owners to produce records for the past four years.

  • Fined Ohana Karaoke 2 $1,000 for violating administrative rules, and ordered its owners to produce records for the past four years.

  • Issued a letter of reprimand to O'Toole's Irish Pub for disturbing the peace.

    The commission administers and enforces Hawai'i's liquor laws.
