Leaders study venture fund market in Isles

William Harris, president and chief executive officer of the Science Foundation of Arizona, will be the keynote speaker at the Hawaii Science & Technology Council's Venture Capital Summit Wednesday.

The conference brings together venture capitalists, technology industry leaders and fund managers to discuss Hawai'i's venture capital market.

Harris will speak about lessons Hawai'i can learn from Ireland's success in raising venture capital programs.

Other speakers include Henk Rogers, chairman of Blue Lava Technologies; Tom Fargo, CEO of Loea Corp.; David Leonard, chief operating officer of Imperium Renewables; and Hank Wuh, CEO of Cellular Bioengineering.
