Trade winds should return today; more rain in forecast

Light trade winds are expected to develop today and increase to moderate speeds by Tuesday through the end of the week, the National Weather Service said.Lingering moisture and instability over Hawai'i will result in more heavy showers today through tomorrow night, mainly in windward and mauka areas.
Today: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 81. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Scattered showers. The rain could be heavy at times. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
