Power still out at Haleakala summit

Power remains out today from last week's storm at the Summit area of Haleakala. The Backcountry Trails also remain closed due to severe damage, Maui County officials said this morning.Crews have cleared the road to the summit and are assessing the trails today, but visitors are advised that the back country is closed until further notice.
