New northwest swell expected tomorrow night

A new northwest swell is expected to arrive by Tuesday, peak late Tuesday and Tuesday night near advisory levels, then slowly lower into Thursday.

The National Weather Service also said a second, but slightly smaller, northwest swell is expected to arrive on Thursday, peak Thursday night and early Friday, then slowly lower into Saturday. A small south swell is expected to arrive on Monday, peak Monday night and early Tuesday, then slowly lower into Friday. Short-period trade wind produced surf and will gradually build during the week, likely peaking Friday and Saturday.

Today, surf along north-facing shores will be 5 feet to 7 feet, surf along west-facing shores will be 2 feet to 4 feet, south-facing shores will see surf 1 foot to 3 feet and east-facing shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet.
